Meet Kelly

Group Employee Benefits Manager

Kelly enjoys helping employers find the right balance of an employee benefits package that will work within the constraints of the employer’s budget and help the business attract and retain quality employees. As a former teacher, she has a passion for educating. Whether it’s helping business owners keep up to date on Health Care Reform changes, or helping employees understand their benefits and how to use them, Kelly works hard to make the foreign language of insurance more accessible.

Insurance administrative tasks like adding or removing employees, claim issues, and other miscellaneous tasks can be time consuming for employers. Kelly effectively and efficiently resolves these issues, allowing employers to spend more time on their business instead of in their business.

Kelly graduated from UC Davis (Go Aggies!) with a B.A. in English. She obtained a multiple subject teaching credential and taught 5th grade prior to obtaining her life and health insurance license and joining CCIS in 2008.

In her spare time, Kelly can be found running 5k mud runs, on the bocce court, binge-watching Netflix, or taking family trips with her husband Wes and sons Sean and Mason. She is quickly becoming well-versed in all things boy: big trucks, Legos, and sweet ninja moves.

Favorite Place to Travel?

Hawaii to relax, Disneyland for fun or anywhere I haven’t visited.

Favorite Hobby?

Working out at Push Ups to Pin Ups Transformation Center (aka P2P)
